## Eligibility

- Senior Resident, Department of Anaesthesiology; Senior Resident, Department of Radiotherapy: As per NMC norms/Residency Scheme, adopted by AMU
- Applications are invited from Indian nationals, including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Cardholders under Section-7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955.
- Qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the Application Form.
- The relaxation in the percentage of marks will be given as per the rule of the Government of India, wherever applicable.
- The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum; holding them alone does not entitle an applicant to be called for interview.
- For Madrasa background applicants, a certificate equivalent to High School or Graduation will be considered if obtained from Madaris/Institution recognized by the University, wherever applicable.

## Selection process

1. Candidates are selected through an interview before the Local Selection Committee (LSC), held in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, Aligarh, on 30 November 2026, with verification of original documents. The University may also constitute a committee to scrutinize and short-list applications, and reserves the right to restrict the number of applicants called for interview on the basis of Rules/Criteria or any other condition it may deem fit.
2. Candidates must report with all original documents half an hour before the scheduled time of the LSC. The notice states that no separate Notice/Interview letter will be issued to candidates in this regard. Candidates who do not bring the originals of the required documents for verification will not be allowed to appear before the interview.
