- The member shall not be in employment of the distribution licensee (APDCL) or any of its agencies, in any capacity, for a period of three years preceding the date of being appointed as member of the Forum.
- The member should have good antecedents.
- The member should not have any outstanding dues of electricity or cases pending with APDCL during the time of appointment.
- Desirable: members of CGRF are well conversant with the official language of the State.
- The post is Consumer Representative (APDCL's nominated), a member of the State Level CGRF. The official notification does not specify the minimum educational qualification. The eligibility conditions printed in the notice are:
- No member shall hold office after attaining the age of 70 (Seventy) years. The notice gives no other age limit.

## Selection process

1. The Members nominated by APDCL shall be selected from the applications received against the advertisement, subject to fulfilling the eligibility of such persons in their respective category.
