- Assistant Security Officer: Serving or Retired personnel in the rank of Junior Commissioned Officer or equivalent from Defence services (Indian Army/ Navy/ Indian Air force/ CAPF/CRPF/BSF/CISF and other allied equivalent services) or Inspector / Sub Inspector / ASI or equivalent rank from Karnataka State Police Department.
- Kannada knowledge is mandatory.
- This position is advertised for external candidates only. Internal employees of BMRCL, including Regular, Contract and Outsourced employees, are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates must provide a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Hospital for appearing in the Physical Fitness Test.
- Additional eligibility requirements:
- Serving or Retired personnel in the rank of Junior Commissioned Officer or equivalent from Defence services or Inspector / Sub Inspector / ASI or equivalent rank from State Police Department with mandatory knowledge of Kannada can apply.

## Pay

The consolidated pay is ₹ 32,950/- p.m for candidates below 60 years and ₹ 30,000/- p.m for candidates above 60 years of age.
