## Pay

The Research Officer gets Rs. 50,000 + HRA and the Field Assistant gets Rs. 24,000 + HRA.

## Selection process

1. Fulfilling the minimum advertised qualification and experience does not automatically entitle an applicant to be called for an Interview/ Test(s).
2. If the number of applications is large, the Institute reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility level to restrict the number of candidates called for interview/test, commensurate with the number of vacancies; the decision of NIHE is final.
3. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
4. Selection is through a walk-in interview held on 17 November 2026 from 10:00 am onwards at GBPNIHE, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora (Uttarakhand), for candidates who have completed the online application form. Candidates appearing for the interview physically must bring their original documents and one set of photocopies.
