- Research Associate: not more than 40 years. Senior Research Fellow and Project Associate-1: not more than 35 years. Young Professional-II: not less than 21 and not more than 45 years. Age is counted as on the date of the interview.
- For Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow, SC/ST/women candidates get 5 years and OBC candidates get 3 years. For Young Professional-II, SC/ST candidates get 5 years and OBC candidates 3 years.

## Eligibility

- Research Associate needs a Ph.D, or a Master's with 3 years of research experience and one SCI/NAAS rated (>=4.0) paper, in the listed fields. Senior Research Fellow needs a Master's with a 4 or 5 year Bachelor's, or a basic-sciences Master's with NET and 2 years of research experience, or a Ph.D.

## Pay

Research Associate gets consolidated Rs.61,000 per month for Master's holders and Rs.67,000 for Ph.D holders, plus HRA. Senior Research Fellow gets Rs.37,000 plus HRA for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs.42,000 plus HRA from the 3rd year.

## Selection process

1. Depending on the number of applications received, shortlisting of candidates may be done, and a maximum of 10 times per post will be called for interview. After scrutiny of applications, eligible candidates will be informed of the time, link and other instructions by email before the interview.
2. The interview will be held via video conferencing on 20 November 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards. Candidates can give the interview in English or Hindi.
