## Eligibility

- Senior Research Fellow (Plant Breeding/ Plant Genetic Resources): M.Sc. in the listed disciplines with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA (details below)
- M. Sc (Ag). in Genetics & Plant Breeding / Genetics & Cytogenetics / Horticulture / Plant Pathology / Plant Genetic Resources, OR M.Sc. in Botany / Genetics / M. Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology / Plant Science, with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA.
- Candidates having a PG degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification.
- Candidates may ensure their eligibility as per ICAR memorandum F. No. Ag. Edn.6/27/2014-HRD dated 30th July 2019 before applying.
- Research experience with Pearl Millet/Millets/field crops; design, layout and handling of field experiments, selfing and crossing techniques, field evaluation, data recording and analysis using statistical software.
- Experience in DUS characterization in field crops etc.
- Relevant certificates for essential and desirable qualifications are compulsory. Only candidates having essential qualifications will be allowed to attend the interview.
- M.Sc. (Ag.) in Genetics & Plant Breeding / Genetics & Cytogenetics / Horticulture / Plant Pathology / Plant Genetic Resources, OR M.Sc. in Botany / Genetics / Agricultural Biotechnology / Plant Science, with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. A PG in Basic Sciences with 3-year Bachelor's and 2-year Master's degree needs NET.

## Pay

The emoluments are Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA.
