Alternatively, candidates may have 10+2 with at least 50% marks and be appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.) are also eligible. - Junior Level Class 6-8: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.), or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular). Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms) are also eligible.; Alternatively, candidates who have 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and are appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program are eligible.
