## Eligibility

- A candidate with GATE/NET qualification will be given preference.
- Those who do not have GATE or NET need to appear in the National Level Examination conducted by the Institute for Ph.D. admission.
- Experience in wastewater treatment will be preferred.
- Desired: experience in material synthesis, water treatment, membrane preparation related areas, with knowledge in characterization and analysis, fabrication and project management.
- The notice accepts a B.E./B.Tech equivalent degree in the listed engineering disciplines and ME/M.Tech/M.S in the listed areas; OR M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Environmental Science/Materials Science/Nanoscience and Nanotechnology or equivalent; OR B.Tech. in Engineering with materials related specialization with minimum 70% aggregate marks or 7.5 CGPA in UG (wherever applicable).

## Pay

The emoluments are ₹37,000/month + HRA for the first 2 years and ₹42,000/month + HRA from the 3rd year.

## Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will have to attend an interview, which may be online or offline. If the interview is conducted online, candidates are expected to have a good internet connection.
