- A Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) or a three-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology; a B.Sc. in Chemistry/Materials Science or a Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Materials Engineering is desirable.
- B.E./B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering, with two years of R&D experience in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations.
