- Master's Degree in Chemistry/Microbiology from a recognized University or Institute; AND One year's practical experience in chemical analysis of materials such as building materials, metals, ores and minerals, oil and fuels, food, water, paints etc. in a recognized laboratory or institute using instrumental methods of testing.
- OR: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Technology/Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; AND Two years' practical experience in chemical analysis of materials such as building materials, metals, ores and minerals, oil and fuels, food, water, paints etc. in recognized laboratory or institute using instrumental methods of testing.
- Desirable Qualification: Experience of Research and Development work in the areas covered in educational qualification.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of the receipt of the applications.
