## Eligibility

- Only Judicial Officers in the cadre of Civil Judge (Junior Division) can apply, and they must have completed three years of qualifying service as Civil Judge (Junior Division) as on 01.04.2026. The service is counted from the date of entry into judicial service as Civil Judge (Junior Division).

## Pay

The scale of pay is ₹1,11,000 – ₹1,63,030 with usual D.A. and other allowances as admissible from time to time.

## Selection process

1. Selection has three parts: a written examination of two papers, a viva-voce, and an evaluation of CCRs / PARs / ACRs. A merit list is then drawn up.
2. Selection is through a written examination of two papers of 100 marks each, a viva-voce of 30 marks and an evaluation of CCRs / PARs / ACRs of 15 marks. The final merit list is based on the total marks of all three.
