- Consultant (Ayurveda): B.A.M.S. Degree from any recognized University, and minimum 5 years post qualification experience
- Senior Research Fellow (Ayurveda): B.A.M.S. Degree from any recognized University
- Junior Research Fellow (J.R.F): Degree qualification in Ayurveda from any Recognized University
- Consultant (Ayurveda) needs a B.A.M.S. degree with minimum 5 years post qualification experience, SRF (Ayurveda) needs a B.A.M.S. degree, and JRF needs a degree qualification in Ayurveda from any recognized university.

## Pay

Consultant gets ₹ 50,000/- per month (consolidated), SRF gets Rs.42,000/- + HRA (as per rule), and JRF gets Rs.31,000/- + HRA per month.

## Selection process

1. Selection will be through an online/offline written test followed by an interview, and candidates have to appear for both. The walk-in will be held online and offline on 20 November 2026 from 10.00 am at the Conference hall of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Gangtok. Candidates reporting for the walk-in interview after 10.30 am shall not be allowed. The selection committee has the right to select or reject the application of a candidate.
