- Age limit: Maximum 50 years (as on 1 December 2026)
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognised University / Institution (4 year Degree course); for absorption, officers of Major Ports holding analogous posts or posts in the scale of Rs.24900-50500/- with the regular service prescribed in the Recruitment Rules.
