- The upper age limit is 35 years on the date of interview. The notice allows these relaxations as per Govt. of India rules:

- OBC-Non Creamy Layer : Up to 3 years
- Physically Handicapped : Up to 10 years

- Research Associate (RA): PhD in Zoology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University in India.
- One Research Associate is to be engaged. The place of posting is Diptera Section, ZSI HQ, Kolkata.
- Taxonomy of Diptera
- Ecological modelling
- DNA Barcoding
- Mitogenomics
- Research experience, supported by research publications, in:
- The qualification is a PhD in Zoology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University in India. Research experience in Taxonomy of Diptera, Ecological modelling, DNA Barcoding and Mitogenomics, supported by publications, is desirable.

## Pay

The remuneration is Rs. 47,000/- per month plus admissible HRA (as per rules).
