Pay and Tenure
- Selected candidates will be appointed on a purely contractual basis. The project tenure is 2 years as JRF, extending to a third year onwards as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) after performance evaluation, making a total of 3 years. For Research Associates, the tenure is 3 years. The fellowship stipend is Rs. 37,000/- per month for JRF, Rs. 42,000/- per month for SRF, and Rs. 58,000/- per month for RA-I. Selected JRF candidates may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani, subject to institute norms.
