Pay and Tenure
- The selected candidate will receive a monthly emolument of Rs. 67,000/- along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per applicable rules. An increment of 5% will be provided for every 2 years of experience in the same project. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The tenure of project staff who have served CSIR-NEERI or any other laboratories/Institutes of CSIR under contract R&D projects is subject to limits as per CSIR guidelines.

- Field Monitoring and Laboratory analysis of Ambient Air.
- Source apportionment (PMF, CMB).
- Size distribution and chemical composition.
- Integration of AI/ML in Air pollution Problem.
- Skilled in Python Programming Language.
- The selected Project Scientist-II will be responsible for the following duties and tasks:
Important Instructions
- The positions are purely temporary and do not confer any right for regularization against any CSIR-NEERI post.
- Candidates are not required to pay any application fees.
- Only candidates who have acquired essential qualifications and whose results have been declared are eligible to apply. Result-awaited or final semester appearing candidates are not eligible.
- Experience is counted from the date after acquiring minimum educational qualification; academic dissertation or thesis work is not counted.
- Selected candidates must sign an undertaking for maintaining the confidentiality of project findings and intellectual property.
- Project staff must make their own arrangements for accommodation during their tenure, though HRA is admissible as per rules.
