Candidates who have submitted their thesis and await award of the PhD degree/provisional degree will receive a reduced fellowship of Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA until submission of the PhD degree. |
- IPDFs are entitled to leaves and OPD medical facility as applicable to PG students of the Institute. Mandatory medical insurance policy of a minimum of Rs. 1 lakh in the candidate's name is required throughout the fellowship period.
IISER Bhopal Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow Important Instructions
- No interim enquiries, correspondence, or communication of any sort will be entertained.
- Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis must submit the provisional or degree certificate within 6 months from the date of appointment.
- Besides research work, the selected IPDF is expected to assist in teaching course(s) as required by the Department.
- No accommodation will be provided to the IPDFs by the Institute.
- It is mandatory for IPDFs to have a medical insurance policy of a minimum of Rs. 1 lakh valid throughout the fellowship period; no medical reimbursement is admissible.
