IIT Gandhinagar Post-Doctoral Fellow Eligibility Criteria – IIT Gandhinagar Post-Doctoral Fellow Qualification

| Post-Doctoral Fellow | PhD in Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or a closely related field. Candidates who have submitted their doctoral thesis may apply, subject to Institute rules. Minimum 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th. |
- Candidates must also possess demonstrated research experience in at least two of the following areas: Application of AI/ML in hydrology; Physics-based or physics-guided data-driven modeling; Remote Sensing, GIS, and Surveying for Natural Disasters; Mathematical or hydrological modelling of water systems. Experience with numerical modelling, scientific programming, peer-reviewed publications, and strong communication skills are required.
