- Graduate Trained Teacher (Class VI-VIII): Minimum 50% marks in graduation from a recognized institute along with a 4-year integrated B.Ed or 3-year graduation with Honours and B.Ed. Passing of CBSE-conducted S-TET/C-TET Paper-2 is mandatory.
- Intermediate Trained Teacher (Class I-V): Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 and D.El.Ed / D.Ed. Passing of CBSE-conducted S-TET/C-TET Paper-1 is mandatory.
- Category-wise Reservation (Intermediate Trained Teachers in Middle Schools): Unreserved: 02, Scheduled Tribe (ST): 02, Scheduled Caste (SC): 01, Extremely Backward Class (BC-1): 01, Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 01.
