KRCL Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply
- Candidates must be holding the post of ALP/Sr. ALP in the regular cadre of Indian Railway.
- Candidates must possess the requisite A1 Medical classification and be medically fit to perform Running Staff duties.
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from a recognised institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Filter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman; OR
- Matriculation/SSLC plus course-completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above; OR
- HSC/12th Std. (10+2) Science pass in regular schooling; OR
- 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering, or a combination of these engineering disciplines, from a recognised institution, in lieu of ITI; OR
- A Degree in the engineering disciplines mentioned above, in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering.
- Any one of the following:
