Written Examination

- There shall be -0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer. Candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in Section I (Civil Engineering) with 50% in aggregate put together to qualify for shortlisting to the oral interview.
Oral Interview
- Qualifying marks in the oral interview shall be 50% of the total marks assigned in the interview. Final selection is based on total qualifying marks scored in the written exam and oral interview taken together.

Mormugao Port Authority Technical Assistant (Civil) Important Instructions
- Applications must be emailed only to [email protected]; resumes/applications sent merely as attachments without the resume in the email body will not be accepted.
- Soft copies received after the scheduled date and time, incomplete applications, or those submitted without compliance instructions shall not be considered under any circumstances.
- Candidates provisionally found eligible must report to the HRD Training Centre, MPA, Headland Sada on 28.10.2026 at 9.30 am with original documents.
- No candidates shall be allowed to enter the exam centre after 9:45 am on 28.10.2026.
- The contract engagement is for a period of two years and will automatically terminate upon expiry.
- The contract engagement does not confer any right to claim permanent absorption in Port service.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
