Salary / Pay Scale
- Selected candidates for the Assistant Professor post will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 1,95,000/- per month during their contract tenure.
Eligibility Criteria
- Professor: A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, A postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Thirteen years teaching and/or research experience for General disciplines, or ten years for Super-specialty discipline.
- Associate Professor: A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, A postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Seven years teaching and/or research experience for General Discipline, or four years for Super-specialty disciplines.
- Assistant Professor: A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, A postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Three years teaching and/or research experience as Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor/Lecturer or equivalent for General Discipline. No experience is necessary for Super-Specialty discipline with D.M./M.Ch.
- Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS): A recognized Medical Qualification included in or Part II of the Schedule or Part II of the third schedule, MD (Hospital Administration)/MHA or equivalent recognized by Medical Council of India. Nine (09) years' experience in Hospital Administration of at least 200 bedded Govt. hospital.
