Advt. No: NITGOA/RECT/CONT/202 6 /OW/ 58 Date: 08 - 10 - 2026 ADVERTISEMENT FOR ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN ON TEMPORARY BASIS Period of Contract: Appointment is for a period of Six months (Purely on Temporary Basis) The appointment will be on temporary basis, ini tially for a period of 6 months which may be extended for another 6 months based on satisfactory performance. Sr No No. of Posts Discipline Age Limit Required Essential Qualifications & Specialization 1 01 Assistant Librarian Not Exceeding 35 Years Essential: (1) Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 60% marks or an equivalent Professional degree or its equivalent with equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale) or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service. (2) Qualifying in the national level test such as NET/SLET/SET conducted for the purposed by UGC or any other agency approved by UGC.
