- Fellowship validity is required. Your qualifying fellowship (such as NET-JRF) must be valid up to at least 31 July 2026 in the Spring cycle and cover the full Ph.D. tenure, and admission may be cancelled if the fellowship is not granted. Check the cutoff date for Autumn.
- Shortlisting doesn’t guarantee admission. Being shortlisted only gets you to the interview stage. The Institute reserves the right to decide on admission.
- Carry original documents to the interview. Applicants must bring the listed documents in original, or they will not be allowed to appear in the interview. Keep a set of self-attested copies as well.
