About Purba Medinipur Health Samiti
- The District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Purba Medinipur District is a registered society (Registration No. S/IL/10904 of 2002 – 2003) based at Tamluk, Purba Medinipur, PIN – 721636. The notice is issued by Dr. Bibhash Roy, CMOH & Secretary of the Samiti. The post is engaged under NACP, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, and is posted at the DISHA Unit, Purba Medinipur.
Who Can Apply
- Three years' experience for candidates with Master's degree in Public Health / Health Care Management / Health Care Administration / Applied Epidemiology.
- Five years' experience in Public Health for Bachelor's degree in Medical or allied Sciences / Masters in Social Science / Psychology / Demography / Statistics / Population Sciences including a minimum 2 years of experience in HIV/AIDS sector.
- Work experience in HIV / AIDS sector, especially in Programme Management at National / State level, should be given more weightage in the experience section than other public health experience.
- Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Medical or allied health Sciences / Master's degree in Public Health / Health Care Management / Health Care Administration / Social Science / Psychology / Applied epidemiology / Demography / Statistics / Population Sciences or similar fields.

How experience is counted
- Experience is calculated after obtaining the required essential qualification, up to the first date of online application.
- Experience gained while pursuing the course will not be counted.
- Ph.D/ M.Phil will not be included in the experience period (wherever applicable).
- The Experience Certificate must come from the appointing authority and mention designation, date of joining, tenure, date of resignation/retirement (if applicable) and nature of activities. An offer or joining letter will not be considered.
- Experience certificates not fulfilling these criteria will be summarily rejected.
