- Government servants and senior citizens (retired)
- MSW students and teachers
- Anganwadi workers
- Members of the transgender community
- Law students, until they are enrolled as advocates
- Representatives and workers of voluntary organisations
- Members of women's organisations, Maitri Sangathan and other service groups
- Educated prisoners with good conduct serving long sentences in jail. The Superintendent of the District Jail will tell prisoners about this notice and forward their applications to the DLSA office by the due date.
