About GMCH-32 Project Technical Support-III
- Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh is a government medical college and hospital in Chandigarh. This post is in its Department of General Surgery and serves an ICMR, Delhi-sponsored research project on interventions targeting healthcare professionals to reduce surgical site infections. Who Can Apply – Essential Qualification

- The post carries monthly emoluments of Rs.34,692 per month (consolidated). The tenure of the post is till May 2027. The appointment is purely on contract basis (temporary in nature) and will not vest any right to claim regular appointment or permanent absorption in GMCH-32 or continued contractual appointment. Leave shall be as per the Institutional Policy for Project staff, at the discretion of the PI.
GMCH-32 Project Technical Support-III Job Description
- Work on antimicrobial prescriptions and follow up of patients.
- Data collection of surgical patients (both emergency and elective procedures).
- Follow-up of patients for surgical site infections.
- Contact with health care professionals (surgical team) for follow-up.
- He/She may have to work in emergency situations, field visits and travel outstation.
