- Age Limit and Relaxations: The upper age limit is 28 years at the time of appointment. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and female candidates as per GOI/DST rules.
Pay and Tenure
- The tenure of the project is two years or until the end of the project. The JRF position may be converted into a regular JRF of the Institute at any time as per IIT (ISM) rules. The fellowship/assistantship is fixed at Rs. 37,000/- per month for JRF and Rs. 25,000/- per month for Project Assistant.
IIT (ISM) Dhanbad Recruitment 2026 Job Description
- The objective of the project is the prospect evaluation of the field under study through the physico-chemical and petrographic evaluation of borehole samples. The JRF and Project Assistant will be involved in fulfilling the objectives and other related work as assigned by the PI/Co-PIs.
