- The Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar, is an autonomous research institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This Research Associate position is under the DAE Raja Ramanna Chair (DAE-RRC) held by Dr Manmath Kumar Badapanda, FNAE. The work supports the 3 MV Tandem Pelletron Accelerator at IOP, Bhubaneswar.
Who Can Apply – Essential Qualifications
- B.E/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electronics and related fields with a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university/institution, with two years' experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or R&D organisations.
- or M.Tech in Power Electronics, Control System, Instrumentation and related field in Electrical Engineering / Electronics with a minimum of 65 % marks or equivalent CGPA from IIT or NIT or recognized university.
- B.E/B. Tech with four years' experiences or M.Tech with two years' experience or Doctoral degree in Engineering or Technology in the above mentioned fields can also be considered.
- Candidates need one of the following qualifications, as printed in the notice:
Preference and Desirable
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in regulated DC power supplies, Power Electronics, control-interlock-protection system, Power semiconductor devices and their drive circuits, Transistors & OPAMPs, etc.
- A valid GATE score is desirable for candidates whose only qualification is a B.E/B.Tech.
