- The post will be filled with Railway employees who meet all of the following requirements, as printed in the notice:
- The age limit is "below 50 years", so a candidate who has reached 50 on the date of notification (19 October 2026) is not eligible. The two-year service condition applies only to employees in GP 2800. Employees already in GP 4200 qualify without it. The notice was sent to General Managers of Indian Railways and all Production Units, the Director Generals of NAIR/Vadodara, RDSO/Lucknow, IRIMEE/Jamalpur, IRISET/Secunderabad and IRIEEN/Nasik Road, and the PCPOs, PCEs and DRMs of all Zonal Railways and Divisions. Candidates should check the official notification for the full eligibility conditions of the post.
Pay and Tenure
- The Technical Assistant post is in the scale of Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4200. It is an ex-cadre post. The selected employee's lien will be kept in their parent Railway/Division. The posting at IRICEN will initially be for three years and may be extended or curtailed at the administration's discretion.

- Get the form forwarded by your Cadre Controlling Officer. The officer signs with designation and seal and certifies that the office has no objection if you are finally selected.

- You may send an advance copy directly, but it will be considered only after the application is received through proper channel.
