Important Instructions for Maharashtra NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2026
- New registration is not allowed for the online stray vacancy rounds.
- Fresh choice filling is compulsory for each applicable stray vacancy round.
- Choices entered during CAP Round 3 will not be considered for Stray Vacancy Round 1.
- Candidates allotted a seat in Stray Vacancy Round 1 cannot participate in further stray vacancy rounds.
- Joining an allotted seat during the stray vacancy rounds is mandatory.
- Candidates must carry all original documents and pay the required admission fees when reporting.
- 20 October 2026, up to 5:30 PM, is the prescribed deadline for resignation without penalty. Cancellation after this deadline attracts a penalty under the information brochure.
- Participating colleges have been directed to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days during the counselling schedule.

- Eligible, previously registered candidates must submit fresh choices for the stray vacancy round. Choices filled during CAP Round 3 will not be considered for Stray Vacancy Round 1.
