- Qualification: Master's degree (M.Sc., M. Pharm, M. Tech) in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry or other relevant branch with a minimum percentage of 60%; A valid GATE/ NET/ Equivalent National level examination score

- Age relaxation: OBC (Non-creamy layer) 3 years, SC/ST/PH and women candidates 5 years
