Project Associate-I
- Essential: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Botany/or relevant subjects.
- Desirable: Experience in soil microbiology, molecular biology and phylogenetic analysis.
Field Assistant
- Essential: B.Sc. in Life Sciences or Agricultural Sciences.
- Desirable: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology.
- Meeting the essential qualification or experience does not by itself guarantee selection. For the full eligibility of each post, check the official notification.
Service Conditions
- The appointments are purely temporary and follow the rules of DBT, Govt. of India, and North Eastern Hill University, Shillong.
- The positions are entirely temporary and end when the project ends.
- Project Associate-I tenure: initially six months. It may be extended up to a maximum of 10.06.2029, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Field Assistant tenure: initially six months. It may be extended up to a maximum of 10.06.2027, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Other terms and conditions that DBT, Government of India, sets for Project Associate-I and FA will also apply.
- Working professionals and candidates who are studying for any course must submit an NOC from their Head of Department.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
