Offline: at any SBI branch, using the pay-in-slip printed from the application portal. The money goes into A/C No. 30987919993 at the CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996). The bank will issue a Journal Number and a Branch Code, and both must be entered in the online application.
The fee can be paid in two ways:
NTPC is not responsible if a fee is deposited in the wrong account. Fees are not refunded under any circumstances.

Age Limit
- The upper age limit is 32 years for all three posts. Age, experience and qualification are counted as on the last date for receipt of online applications, which is 13 November 2026.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: as per Government guidelines
- Where a vacancy is identified for the category, the upper age limit is relaxed as follows:
- Category certificates must be valid for the applicable year and issued by the competent authority in the latest Government of India format. The category entered in the online form cannot be changed later. Please see the official notification for the full discipline-specific eligibility of each post.
- OBC-NCL candidates get 3 years and PwBD candidates get 10 years above the 32-year limit, where a vacancy is identified for their category.

- For all three posts, the experience may be gained in industrial, infrastructure, EPC, construction, maintenance or project environments, or in a combination of these. All qualifications must be full-time courses from universities or institutions recognised and approved in India. Only Indian nationals are eligible.
Pay and Service Conditions
- Pay: a consolidated amount of Rs. 71,000 per month.
- Benefits: company accommodation or HRA and a retention benefit.
- Medical facility: covers the employee, spouse, dependent parents and two children.
- Tenure: 1 year. It can be extended for a maximum of two (02) more years, based on organisational requirement and the candidate's performance.
- Posting: Great Nicobar Island (GNI). The posts are transferable to any NTPC office, station, project, JV or subsidiary at the sole discretion of the management.
- Health: before joining, candidates must pass a medical examination by the NTPC Medical Board or Officer. Its decision is final, and there is no relaxation in the prescribed health standards. The detailed medical norms are published on careers.ntpc.co.in.
