Essential Experience
- (i) 3 years Research / Industrial / Academic experience after M.Tech / M.E.
- (ii) for Ph.D candidates experience is not essential.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in Research and Development on Medical Devices / Industrial / Academic experience such as Product Design, Finite element analysis, Computational fluid dynamics, Prototyping, Medical device development and testing, Quality system documentation.
Pay and Tenure
- Selected candidates will receive monthly emoluments of Rs. 58,000/- + 18% HRA. The appointment is initially for a period of 6 months and is likely to be extended upto 13.06.2029.
SCTIMST Research Associate I Job Description
- Research & Development of medical device for minimally invasive cardiovascular applications involving: product design, computer aided design, analysis such as FEM, CFD, prototyping, in vitro testing, in vivo testing, technology transfer, documentation.
Important Instructions
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
- Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature will be conducted for initial screening and only qualified candidates will be called for interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
- Eligible candidates are required to apply ONLINE through Institute website and upload scanned copies of certificates to prove age, qualifications, experience and a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate (for OBC candidates) / Income and Asset certificate (for EWS candidates) in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Govt.
