APPROVED SYLLABUS FOR RECRUITMENT OF SCIENCE CONSUITANT UNDER DIRECTORATE OF STATE COUNCIL OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING, SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT The Examination shall consists of written Examination and Interview. Written Examination will consists of 5 (five) papers, namely - a) Non Technical Papers (i) General English (ii) General studies b)Technical`Papers (i) Technical paper I (ii) Technical paper ll (iii) Technical paper Ill c) Personal Interview - 100 Marks (3 hours) -100 Marks (2 hours) -200 Marks (3 hours) -200 Marks (3 hours) -200 Marks (3 hours) Total -800Marks - 100 Marks GrandTotal -900Marks 3) Written examination for General English and Technical Papers will be of 3 hours duration and General Studies will be of 2 hours duration. Compensatory time may be allowed for person with benchmarked disabilities as prescribed by the Government from time to time. 4) Question Papers for the written examination will be set in English. 5) Technical Papers shall have both MCQs and Conventional Essay Type Questions.
