Junior Project Fellow
- Essential qualification: Post Graduate degree with 55% marks from any recognised university in Remote Sensing and GIS / Environment Science / Geoinformatics / Life Science / Forestry / Geography / Earth Science / Hydrology and Physics subject.
- Reserved category candidates: a minimum of 50% marks is required.
- Desirable: Preference will be given to researchers who have: appropriate knowledge of RS/GIS related software;, experience of field work in areas of Uttarakhand;, experience of working in various image processing, remote sensing and GIS based projects or industries;, experience of working with GPS;, appropriate computer knowledge.
- Age limit: maximum 28 years for the general category.
Field Assistant
- Essential qualification: Graduate degree from any recognised university and appropriate computer knowledge.
- Desirable: basic knowledge of operating a computer and experience of working in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand.
- Age limit: maximum 42 years for the general category.

- The appointments are on contract basis against temporary project posts. Appointment will be made for the various projects until March 2027.
- If a candidate's work is not found satisfactory, the Centre reserves the right to end the contract at any time.
- The positions end automatically once the fixed period of the projects is over.
- A candidate engaged under the project has no possibility of absorption or regularisation in any post at the Uttarakhand Space Application Centre.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The Centre reserves the right not to fill the vacant posts.
- The decision of the Director, U-SAC, is final and binding in all matters.
