AIIMS Jodhpur Project staff Nurse (Project Nurse-II) Job Description
- Point of contact for coordinating various day to day activities in consultation with Project investigators.
- Will actively participate in the finalization of study tools, recruitment of study participants, development of content, data collection, record keeping, implementation of the study and other project related activities.
- Implementation of the research protocol i.e., recruiting research subjects, conducting in-depth interviews and qualitative data coding, maintaining follow up records and data entering.
- Organize time-to time sensitization and training activities as required for the project.
- Be involved in compilation of results, uploading data (e-CRF) to the database and finalization of report.
- Update principal investigators regarding progress of the project on a timely basis and coordinate with PIs and Co-PIs of other sites.
- Accomplish all the work as and when assigned towards project activities by the project investigators. Candidature can be terminated if performance is not satisfactory.
- The candidate is expected to work on antimicrobial prescriptions and follow up of surgical patients. The nature of work will be data collection of surgical patients (both emergency and elective procedures), interviews from health care professionals, follow up of patients for surgical site infections and contact with health care professionals (surgical team) for outcome.

- The form further asks for the period required for joining if selected, a Yes/No declaration on the salary description, and two references with whom the candidate has worked in the past, with their email id and contact number. The candidate signs the affirmation with date and place and lists the enclosures attached.
What Happens on the Day
- Candidates should appear in person on 10 November 2026 and submit the filled application in the prescribed format and Bio-data. The reporting time is 11:00 AM, after which no additional candidates would be entertained for interview.
- The mode of selection is an interview at Room no. 233. A screening test may be taken in the case of large number of candidates.

- The post is purely temporary for sanctioned project and duration, on a temporary/contractual basis for the specified period of time and based on project.
- The post is co-terminus with the project. The candidate will have no right to claim permanent employment under ICMR/AIIMS, Jodhpur or continuation of services in any other project.
- The appointment may be cancelled at any time in case of any misconduct, unsatisfactory work or if the candidate is found ineligible later.
- The number of posts may increase/decrease or may be withdrawn at the discretion of Competent Authority, AIIMS Jodhpur or Funding agency (ICMR, DELHI).
- No TA/DA or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
