- The Commission has announced a five-day programme. General Knowledge (Paper-I) and General English (Paper-II) are on the first day. Subject papers follow on the next four exam days.
Soil Conservation Ranger Exam Pattern
- The Screening Test has both OMR-based and conventional-type papers.
- General Knowledge (Paper-I) is OMR based and runs for 2 hours (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon).
- General English (Paper-II) is conventional type and runs for 3 hours (1:30 PM to 4:30 PM).
- All subject papers in the programme are OMR based. Each is scheduled for 2 hours.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- No intimation letter will be sent by post to eligible candidates.
- Download the e-Admission Certificate yourself from www.apsc.nic.in.
- The Commission can cancel the candidature of any candidate after verifying the application form. This can happen at any time or stage, even after the Screening Test, if the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria or conditions of the advertisement.
- PwBD candidates who want a scribe for the Screening Test must inform the Commission in writing with supporting documents. They can also send an email to [email protected]. The deadline is 14 October 2026.
- Check the exam day, subject and time on your e-Admission Certificate. The programme has two sessions on most days.
How to Download the e-Admission Certificate
- Visit the official website, www.apsc.nic.in.
- Look for the e-Admission Certificate link for the Soil Conservation Ranger Screening Test once it is uploaded.
- Enter the login details asked on the page.
- Download the e-Admission Certificate and take a printout.
- Check your name, subject papers, date, time and exam centre before the exam day.
- APSC will not send any intimation letter by post. Candidates must download their own e-Admission Certificate from the Commission's website. It is scheduled to be uploaded on 27 October 2026.
