- The District Climate Change Mission (DCCM) is the district-level climate mission of The Nilgiris district in Tamil Nadu, working with the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DoE&CC) of the Tamil Nadu Government at the State level. DCCM Nilgiris Technical Assistant-1 Job Description
- Promote coordination and synergy among line departments for effective environmental protection and climate action.
- Coordinate DCCM activities, organize capacity-building programmes and document successful climate initiatives.
- Act as a link between DoE&CC at the State level and the District Climate Change Mission at district level.
- Conduct DCCM Meetings once every two months and submit the Minutes of Meeting to the Government through the Director, DoE&CC within 15 days.
- Review innovation, monitor existing schemes and plan upcoming activities and stakeholder engagement during each meeting.
- Maintaining Government records.
