DHS Goa Surgeon Eligibility Criteria – DHS Goa Qualification

Holders of educational qualifications included in Part- II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in the sub-section (3) of the section 13 of the I.M.C. Act, 1956. |
| Echo Cardiologist | (i) Post-Graduate degree qualifications in the General Medicine or Post-Graduate degree qualification in Respiratory Medicine with fellowship in ECHO Cardiology OR Post-Graduate degree qualifications in the General Medicine or Post-Graduate degree qualification in Respiratory Medicine with certificate in ECHO Cardiology and 01 year experience. |
| Intensivist / Consultant (ICU) | A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of section 13 of the IMC Act 1956 AND MD Anesthesia / Equivalent degree OR MD in general medicine / Equivalent degree with 1 year experience in intensive care OR MD in respiratory medicine with 1 year experience in intensive care OR MBBS Graduate with 2 years certificate course in critical medicine/intensive care with 1 year work experience. DHS Goa Important Instructions
- Candidates have to report for document verification along with application, original and photocopy of certificates and testimonials as per dates specified.
- For posts from Sr. No. 1 to 9: Self attested copies of birth certificate, educational qualifications, Internship completion certificate, Goa Medical Council registration, 15 years residence in Goa & experience certificate wherever applicable are required.
- For posts from Sr. No. 10 to 13: Self attested copies of birth certificate, educational qualification, valid employment card, 15 years residence in Goa & experience certificate wherever applicable are required.
- Candidates for posts at Sr. No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10 & 12 have to report for document verification at 9.30 a.m.
- Candidates for posts at Sr. No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 11 & 13 have to report for document verification at 2.00 p.m.
- Late reporting after 10.00 am / 2.30 pm will not be considered for interview.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to attend Walk-In-Interview.
- Knowledge of Konkani is desirable for all posts.
