Pay and Terms
- The consolidated monthly remuneration is Rs. 95,000/- per month for Medical Officer and Rs. 36,500/- per month for Lab Assistant. The appointment is engagement on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinic Shahpur, Distt. Kangra for a period of one year for ESM and 11 months for civil candidates, renewable for an additional period of one year or until attaining the maximum age limit subject to performance of candidates and other conditions.
ECHS Dharamsala Medical Officer Job Description
- Provide medical and healthcare services at ECHS Polyclinic Shahpur, Distt. Kangra.
- Perform laboratory tests and support medical diagnostics for Lab Assistant role.

- Educational certificates and mark sheets (10th, Matric, 10+2, Graduation, Post Graduation, Diploma/Course)
- Work Experience certificates
- Medical Fitness Certificate (duly signed by CMO/SEMO)
- Character Certificate (duly signed by CMO/SEMO)

- Passport-size color photographs
ECHS Dharamsala Important Instructions
- Applications received after 1200 hrs on 24 October 2026 will not be accepted for any records.
- Preference will be given to Ex-servicemen, widow of service personnel, and Veer Naris.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
- Only candidates meeting the qualitative requirement may attend and will be called for interview.
- Original certificates, mark sheets, degrees, and certificates must be brought on the day of interview.
How to Apply for ECHS Dharamsala Medical Officer
- Fill out the application in duplicate on the prescribed format.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of testimonials supporting educational qualifications, work experiences, discharge book, PPO, service records, and a passport-size color photograph at the time of interview (or submission).
- Submit the application in duplicate to OIC, Station HQ (ECHS Cell) Dharamsala either in person or by post.
- Ensure the application reaches Station HQ Dharamsala by 1200 hrs on 24 October 2026.
- Attend the interview at Station HQ Dharamsala at 0900 hrs on 30 October 2026 along with all original certificates, mark sheets, degrees, work experience, medical fitness certificate, and character certificate signed by CMO/SEMO.
