- Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. (EPI) is a 'Mini Ratna' Central Public Sector Enterprise under the aegis of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt. of India. It carries out a wide range of turnkey projects in the Power, Steel, Industrial, Civil and Infrastructure sectors. Its HR department is at Core-3, SCOPE Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
Who Can Apply – Essential Qualification
- BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech (Preferably Electronics & Communication/IT/Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics or equivalent).
- The qualification must be recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education, the University Grant Commission and/or any other Statutory Authority/Board.
Experience
- Minimum 22 years of post-qualification experience in Telecommunications/IT Project Management or technical leadership.
- Years of service as a freelancer, self-employed person or in one's own business do not count as post-qualification experience.
Desirable
- Experience in Network Management Systems, Element Management Systems/OSS (Operational Support Systems), network design, and scalable IT system design and architecture.
- Experience of working with Government Departments/PSUs.
Pay and Terms

- The engagement is for an initial period of 1 year. It can be extended up to a maximum of 3 years or until the consultant turns 65, whichever comes first.
- Any extension depends on satisfactory performance and on what the organisation needs.
- The selected candidate will have no claim to a regular appointment with EPI.
- The place of posting is New Delhi.
- The Consultant/Expert -IT gets a Fixed Consolidated Remuneration, worked out as follows:
- "Last Pay Drawn" means the last Basic Pay plus DA at the time of retirement.

Important Instructions

- Attach self-attested photocopies of the documents listed below.
- On the envelope, write "Application for the post of Consultant/ Expert – IT".
- Send it by Courier/Post to: HOD (HR), Core-3, SCOPE Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.
- Make sure it arrives between 9.30 AM on 24 October 2026 and 05.30 PM on 2 November 2026. Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
