- Educational and Service Qualification: The candidate must be a retired accounts officer or retired from that post in ministerial service, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in updating state debt statistics, reconciliation, examining budget estimates for fund-raising proposals by borrowers, and checking government guarantee proposals and loan accounts.
- Age Limit: Not more than 65 years of age.
- Residency: The candidate must reside in Mumbai or adjacent districts.
- Disciplinary Record: There should be no departmental inquiry pending or proposed against the candidate.
- Language Proficiency: The candidate must have knowledge of Marathi and English languages.
Finance Department Maharashtra Retired Accounts Officer Important Instructions
- The appointment is made on a contract basis for a period of 1 year.
- The appointed retired accounts officer shall work under the control of the respective Joint Secretary / Deputy Secretary.
- Applications received without the prescribed format or after the last date will be summarily rejected.
