About ICAR-IARI
- The ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is an institute of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in New Delhi. This post is in the Institute's Division of Agricultural Economics. The work is an economic survey of stakeholder preferences in target crops under the ICAR-Network Project on Translational Genomics in Crop Plants (TGCP).
Who Can Apply – Essential Qualification
- Post Graduate Degree (M. Sc.) in Agricultural Economics/ Dairy Economics/ Fisheries Economics/ Agricultural Statistics/ Economics (with thesis work). Only candidates who have the essential qualifications will be called for the online interview.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in data collection and data analysis of primary and secondary data
- Handling of software like MS Excel, R and STATA
- Good scientific writing skills
Pay and Tenure
- Pay: Rs. 42,000/- per month, fixed. No HRA is paid.
- The post is purely temporary and contractual. It is filled at first for up to 31 March 2027 or until the project is completed, whichever is earlier.
- The post ends with the project (co-terminus). The selected candidate cannot claim a regular appointment at the Institute.

It ends with a signed self-declaration that the details are true.
