Age Limit

IARI Project Associate-II Job Description
- Working under the DBT funded project entitled “Mainstreaming sesame germplasm for productivity enhancement and sustainability through genomics assisted core development and trait discovery [Sub project 3, Component 2: Identification of Biotic Stress (Phyllody & Dry Root Rot) Tolerant Sesame Genotypes]”.
- Carrying out research activities focused on the identification of biotic stress tolerant sesame genotypes in the Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.
What to Bring
- Two copies of duly filled application form in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I & II).
- Two recent passport size photographs.
- One set of self-attested photocopies of certificates, mark-sheets, and experience proof.
- Original documents for verification at the time of interview.
- No objection certificate from the employer, in case employed.
What Happens on the Day
- Candidates must report at the Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi at 9:30 AM on 02 November 2026. Original documents will be verified at the time of interview. Only candidates having essential qualifications will be entertained for the interview. Candidates reaching after the specified time may not ordinarily be entertained.
Important Instructions

- Application format deviating from the prescribed format will not be considered and no communication will be entertained.
- No call letters will be issued; applicants must be present at the venue on the specified date and time.
- The position is purely temporary, contractual, time-bound, and co-terminus with the project up to February 2027.
- Selected candidates shall not claim for any regular appointments at the institute.
