Editorial policy
How GovtPulse collects government job, exam and result notices, how the facts are checked, and how mistakes are corrected.
Who is responsible
GovtPulse is run by Subhash Kandhway (Founder & Editor), who sets these rules and handles every correction.GovtPulse is a private information website. It is not a government website, is not linked to any recruiting body, and never charges a fee.
Where notices come from
- Official websites of recruiting bodies, commissions, boards and universities. The full list is public on the Sources we track page.
- Official sites are scanned every hour, and new posts are picked up about every 15 minutes.
- Every notice links to the official notification and the official website. Applications are made only there.
How facts are checked
- Dates, fees, age limits, vacancies and eligibility are read from the official notification itself.
- Where the official PDF can be read, the key facts are compared with it automatically. Notices that match show “Official Source Verified”; where a value differs, the official value is shown and marked.
- Each notice shows when its source was last checked and what changed most recently (for example a new admit card link).
- Notices with too few details to be useful are kept for visitors but not offered to search engines.
- Preparation guides are written by hand and say clearly that exam patterns can change; the notification of each exam is final.
Corrections
Found a wrong date, fee or link? Tell us on the contact page with the notice address and the official source. Confirmed mistakes are corrected as soon as possible, usually within a day, and the notice's “last updated” date changes.
