About IIT Gandhinagar Senior Research Fellow
- The Research & Development Office at IIT Gandhinagar facilitates sponsored research projects across various disciplines. This recruitment drive aims to appoint a temporary Senior Research Fellow for an ISRO-backed initiative focused on multi-scale modeling frameworks for semiconductor thin-film growth. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the research team at SCL Mohali to validate developed numerical simulation models.
Who Can Apply
- Essential Qualification: PG Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Material Engineering / Chemical Engineering or any Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
- Required Experience: 02 years of research experience is required along with the above-mentioned qualifications.
- Academic Criteria: A minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
- Desirable Qualification/Experience: Prior experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics packages (e.g. Ansys Fluent), understanding of chemical reactions kinetics, and strong scientific writing and presentation skills.
- Candidates must meet the specific educational qualification, national-level test requirements, and research experience stipulated by the funding agency norms.
