Qualification and Experience

- The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of guidance of M.Tech. and Ph.D. students, strong record of publications in journals of high impact factor, patents, laboratory/course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.
Pay and Terms
- Selected candidates for the Associate Professor position will receive a pay structure under Level: 13A2, Cell-01 with a starting basic pay of ₹ 1,39,600/- per month as per the 7th CPC. Applicants called for an interview will be reimbursed for to and fro travel expenses within India, provided Economy Class Air Fare Tickets are purchased exclusively through authorized travel agents: Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), M/s Balmer Lawrie & Company Limited (BLCL), or M/s Ashoka Tours & Travels (ATT). Accommodation may be provided on a payment basis in the Institute Guest House subject to availability.
Documents Required
- Candidates must ensure that all the relevant information and documents have been uploaded before finalizing the application. Applicants employed in Government and Semi Government organizations, Public Undertakings, University and Educational Institutions should submit their application through proper channel or submit “No Objection Certificate” from the current employer at the time of Interview.

- No hard copy of the application need to be submitted.
- Applicants called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro travel expenses within India through authorized travel agents i.e. Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), M/s Balmer Lawrie & Company Limited (BLCL),and M/s Ashoka Tours & Travels (ATT).
- It is the responsibility of the applicant to keep his/her current employer informed about his/her application to IIT Mandi.
- The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the post(s) advertised without assigning any reason.
- The Institute may consider candidates whose area of specialization and specific qualification lie outside those stated herein, provided these candidates have an outstanding record.
- The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates or interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification, experience and other academic achievements higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- The Institute reserves the right to withdraw any advertised position(s) at any time without assigning any reason.
- The invitation to candidate for interview merely indicates that it is felt that he/she with others may be suitable for the post and conveys no assurance whatsoever that he/she will be recommended or selected or his/her conditions specified in the application will be accepted.
