Who Is Shortlisted? Application Code Type by Post
Candidates under Trade Apprentice posts (codes 101, 102, 108 to 111) are identified in the notice by NAPS application code or enrollment number. Technician Apprentice candidates (codes 104, 106, 107) are identified by NATS application code or enrollment number. Candidates whose codes appear in the notice are provisionally shortlisted. Shortlisting alone does not guarantee engagement.
Documents Required for Haldia Refinery Apprentice Document Verification
Printout of the filled-up online application form, signed by the applicant.
Printout of the NATS/NAPS portal registration form with applicant details.
Proof of date of birth. Only the 10th pass/Matriculation certificate issued by the concerned education board is accepted.
Class XII marksheet and passing certificate issued by the concerned education board.
Semester-wise or year-wise mark sheets of ITI (Fitter) issued by NCVET or SCVT, or of Graduation/Diploma in Engineering.
Class XII, final ITI (Fitter), Graduation, or Diploma passing certificate from the respective Board or Authority.
Conversion certificate from CGPA/OGPA/letter grade to percentage of marks, if applicable, from the concerned University or Institute.
Certificate from the Principal of the Polytechnic, School, College, or Institute stating the date of result publication, if applicable. It must also state that the course was completed in regular full-time mode and mention the candidate's good conduct.
SC/ST/PwBD certificate, OBC (NCL) certificate with declaration, or EWS income and asset certificate/declaration, in the prescribed format available on www.iocl.com and issued by the competent authority.
For Code 111 candidates: a skill certificate in "Domestic Data Entry Operator" issued by an awarding body recognised under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or another authority recognised by the Central Government.
Affidavit confirming compliance with all eligibility conditions, in the standard template (Annexure – A of the detailed advertisement).
Six colour passport-size photographs.
Original government photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving Licence, or Passport).
Any other relevant documents specified in Advertisement No. HR/RECTT/01/2026-27 (APP) dated 30.06.2026, in support of qualifications, experience, category, medical status, etc.
Candidates must bring the originals and one set of self-attested photocopies of documents related to age, qualification, and caste/category (if applicable). They must also bring 6 colour passport-size photographs and an original government-issued photo ID. The notice says candidature is liable to be cancelled if these are missing.
Pre-Engagement Medical Examination
Candidates whose documents are found in order will be advised to undergo a pre-engagement medical examination at Haldia Refinery Hospital, Cluster-11, Haldia Refinery Township, Dist: Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, PIN 721607. The notice says the medical schedule will be communicated later; no date is given.
Candidates should carry enough money for travel, stay, and medical tests, because some tests may have to be done outside the refinery hospital.
